The Couch Potato Package is a short getaway designed for those who want to unwind and recharge without feeling guilty about not being active. It is available from September until May.
So, what exactly does the Couch Potato Package include? Here’s a rundown:
Accommodation: You will enjoy 2 nights in your own private waterfront cottage. You can choose from a range of cottage options, depending on your group size and preferences. All cottages come equipped with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and outdoor space. They also have fireplaces, adding to the cozy vibe.
Meals: The package includes some meals, prepared by the resort’s culinary team. If you enjoy this package on a weekend, you will have breakfast and the famous all-you-can-eat roast beef dinner in The Pub on Saturday. On Sunday, after check-out, you will be treated to our Sunday Best menu in the Hearthside Dining Room. The menu features a variety of dishes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, and uses locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Weekday packages include breakfast and dinner from the Wild Blue Yonder Pub menu. Don’t forget, with a full kitchen, you can also enjoy meals and snacks in the privacy of your cottage.
Activities: The Couch Potato Package is all about doing as much or as little as you want. While there are plenty of activities to choose from, you’re under no obligation to participate in any of them. Some of the options include:
- Spa treatments: Visit the Spa@Elmhirst’s- which uses organic and natural products- to indulge in a massage, facial, or body treatment.
- Movies and popcorn: Curl up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.
- Board games and puzzles: The resort has a selection of board games and puzzles for you to enjoy, either alone or with your companions.
- Reading: Choose a book from the resort’s library or bring your own and lose yourself in a good story.
- Napping: Yes, napping is an activity! With no pressure to be anywhere or do anything, you can catch up on your sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.
