New Fall Fitness Programs

Starting in October, get back into a regular fitness routine with us!

Elmhirst’s Resort and the Spa@Elmhirst’s are excited to announce the launch of 2 brand new fitness programs. Beginning October 1, join us for weekly Aqua Fitness and Yoga classes.

Aquafit, or Aerobics in the water, is a great form of exercise for anyone –  from people with chronic health conditions, to those rehabbing an injury, to professional athletes looking for a rigorous cross-training activity. The water provides resistance for building strength, as well as a low impact environment for the body’s joints. Certified Instructor and personal trainer Tania Hineman will guide participants through fun water aerobics that are performed in the indoor pool. Done mostly vertically without swimming, and typically in waist deep or slightly deeper water.

Certified Instructor Lori Burtt will guide participants through Yoga poses and movements for all levels of Yoga practitioners. Lori has discovered the powerful healing aspects of mental and emotional health that comes with a regular yoga practice, and looks forward to helping others begin their yoga journey as part of a healthy lifestyle. Please bring your own yoga matt.

Aquafit Times: October 1 – Dec 19, 2018
Mondays at 7:00pm & Wednesdays at 10:00am

Yoga Times: October 10 – Dec 19, 2018
Wednesdays: 8:00am-9:15am or 5:30-6:45pm

Book by September 29th and receive 12 sessions for the price of 10.
Space is limited to 10 participants per session.
No refunds for missed sessions.
