Update: September 2022

And the Winner Is…

Thank you to everyone who submitted such creative and thoughtful names. We couldn’t have asked for a better result! There were over 200 submissions. There were submissions based on family history, local history, some had a flying influence, and some reflected home and comfort.

As a leadership team and as a family, we narrowed it down to our favourites, and then our staff helped us make the final decision.

We are pleased to announce that the Main Building will now be referred to as “The Landing”. This name feels just right. The Landing is the building you go to when you arrive, the place you can come for a delicious meal, a special event, or a relaxing Spa treatment. Whatever the reason for your visit, you will “Land” here, and receive a warm Elmhirst’s Welcome.

Name the Main

The Elmhirst’s Resort Main Building needs a name!

The main building houses our main reception and offices, The Hearthside Dining Room, The Wild Blue Yonder Pub, the Enterprise Room, the pool, fitness centre, and Spa@Elmhirst’s. It is the heart of our resort – the area where we all meet, eat and play together.  But it’s missing something – a name!

That’s where you come in. We are running a contest to find a name for our Main Building! Submit your idea for a name for our main building, and you could win a Couch Potato Package (or equivalent resort credit).

Contest entries will be accepted from now until June 30, 2022. A winner will be selected from the entries by the Elmhirst family and staff. The winner will be announced on Labour Day Weekend. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to see the announcement!
