In this time of unprecedented challenge we hope all of you are keeping safe and well. If you or your family members continue to work in health care or other essential services, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and pass on our most profound hopes for your health and safety.
At this time, it is unclear when exactly we will safely be in a position to open the resort as well what experiences we will be able to offer at that time. As a family and with a few key team members we continue to prepare the property inside and out to be sure we are ready to receive guests as soon as possible. Our leadership team is working on action plans to make sure every part of Elmhirst’s Resort is ready to serve guests when the time comes under a number of operating scenarios. Our team members at home are in close touch and can’t wait to welcome you back.
As the calendar moves forward in the era of physical distancing and restricted travel, we know you may have questions about your reservation with us. Please rest assured we are committed to offering you a variety of options to find the perfect solution:
If the usual 30 day threshold prior to check in for deposit refunds is reached and travel restrictions are still in place we can refund 100% of your deposit if you wish. Please notify us in advance by all means if that is your preference. If you are more comfortable cancelling prior to the 30 day mark we will refund 90% of your deposit.
You may also leave your deposit on file with us for the same dates in 2021 and we will add a $50 credit to your reservation for you to enjoy when you return. Your reservation dates for 2021 can be secured immediately by letting us know if this your preference.
As we are working with a smaller team, processing deposits may take a little longer. We regret the inconvenience but wish to assure you it will be completed as quickly as possible. So many of you have reached out to us with genuine concern for us, and genuine regret at the prospect of not being able to check in for your anticipated visit to Rice Lake. We really appreciate your concern and wish as fervently as you that we could enjoy the season on our shores without these worries.
For now we all share the need to keep ourselves heathy and safe. We will always be here to answer your questions and make sure your reservation is treated according to your wishes. We will continue to share updates, recipes, fun activities and some Elmhirst’s nostalgia though our social media channels.
