FREE SPIRIT AIR ADVENTURES

The thrill of taking off in a floatplane, landing on a remote lake with only loons and fish jumping for flies; touching down on Georgian Bay for a fresh fish lunch at Henry’s Restaurant; skimming into Sandbanks Provincial Park to climb the sand dunes or spending the day canoeing and exploring on a private lake, accessible only by air… what is more Canadian than that? The wilds of Ontario are yours to discover in a floatplane!

Sightseeing Flights

Sightseeing flights of the Kawartha Lakes provide a solid base for photographers, adventurers and those celebrating a special occasion. Your pilot is familiar with the area history and points of interest. We don’t go too high so you can see the cottages and perhaps a local landmark, like your home. The world looks very orderly from the air.

$50 per person. All prices in Canadian dollars. HST additional.

Air Charters

Charter destinations are limited only by your imagination. We’ve been to New York City, Moosonee and the coast of Hudson Bay, Ungava, the Yukon and to Osh Kosh for the annual fly-in. Your pilot can assist with planning your day or days away on tour. Half day fishing tours to a remote lake with a guide/pilot is popular.

Licensed pilots may train for their float or seaplane endorsement with us. We’ve met some exciting pilots from Swiss Air, Air Canada and local carriers over the years, who first trained with us before moving on to the big birds.

Floatplane training is offered in the Piper PA12 aircraft.
